Red flags

  • No crate drawing before production
  • Undisclosed substitution from hardwood to composite
  • Vague “export packing” without stack test or drop test agreement

Questions before deposit

  • Who pays if ocean damage occurs under which Incoterm?
  • What is the claim window after delivery?
  • Are customs HS codes and FOB value aligned for your importer?
