Pakistan (especially Sialkot) exports FIFA-grade balls, cricket bats, and protective equipment. Buyers should lock material grades and test methods before bulk.

Compliance checklist

  • FIFA Quality Pro / IMS marks for match balls (if claiming) — obtain test reports
  • CE for protective equipment sold in EU (category-dependent)
  • UKCA / labeling for UK where applicable
  • CPSIA / ASTM for youth products in US (category-dependent)

Red flags

  • Price far below market for claimed grade (e.g. “English willow” at composite prices)
  • No willingness to provide batch test or third-party inspection
  • Vague ball construction (“match quality”) without layer count and material

Questions before deposit

  • Which standard does the sample represent, and will bulk use identical sub-suppliers?
  • Who pays for rework if pre-shipment inspection fails?
  • What is the defect allowance and replacement policy?
