Red flags
- No crate drawing before production
- Undisclosed substitution from hardwood to composite
- Vague “export packing” without stack test or drop test agreement
Questions before deposit
- Who pays if ocean damage occurs under which Incoterm?
- What is the claim window after delivery?
- Are customs HS codes and FOB value aligned for your importer?
